Our story
It all started in the kitchen.
Co-founder Jason, a Red Seal Chef, spent most of his adult life in restaurant kitchens. A career he chose due to his love for food.
But, as many other chefs running a kitchen, Jason grew frustrated with the systems he had to use to manage the “back of house.” They were either built for large chains, took too much time and effort to use, or were too expensive for an independent restaurant.
We know this is a necessary evil and part of restaurant ownership. Restaurants operate on tight margins, so being on top of the numbers is crucial to make sure you don’t bite the dust. But most chefs and owners start like Jason -- for love for food, not numbers.

Jason partnered with Robert, a technology architect with love for small businesses and spicy food. Together, they cooked up DigiChef. A service created to give restaurant owners and chefs the tools needed to succeed, without making it a full-time job.
